Ethereum Draft Adds Compliance Powers to Confidential RWA Tokens
Developer Aryeh Greenberg has submitted a draft Ethereum interface for confidential real-world asset tokens that includes compliance checks and issuer enforcement powers.
A draft Ethereum token interface proposed by developer Aryeh Greenberg would introduce compliance checks for confidential tokens tied to real-world assets, according to The Defiant.
The proposal would also give issuers enforcement powers over those tokens. It builds on ERC-7984, extending the existing interface with the proposed controls.
Submitted as pull request #2034 on Thursday evening Eastern Time, the proposal remains an unmerged draft. Its submission does not mean the changes have been adopted.
