Edited by Steinar Vigdel Kolnes, Editor, Oslo
Ethereum’s Glamsterdam launch on the Hoodi testnet has been delayed over security concerns linked to planned gas changes.

The launch of Ethereum’s Glamsterdam upgrade on the Hoodi testnet has been postponed amid concerns about how its gas changes could affect existing smart contracts.
ChainSecurity reported finding 13 real-world examples of contracts that could be affected by the changes. The findings point to potential risks, rather than confirmed exploitation.
The security firm said it is working with the projects involved to disclose the findings responsibly. The report did not specify a revised date for the testnet launch.
