Ethena Begins USDe Equity-Basis Strategy With Binance
Ethena said it has begun allocating USDe backing to trades pairing bStocks tokenized equities with short positions in Binance equity perpetuals.
Ethena announced on Sept. 25 that it was starting to direct a portion of USDe’s backing into equity-basis trades, with Binance serving as the strategy’s initial exchange partner.
The setup combines bStocks tokenized equities with short positions in equity perpetual contracts on Binance. Those perpetuals are denominated in USDT.
Ethena said allocations would start the same day. The announcement excerpt did not specify the size of the allocation or which equities would be included.
