Empire Market co-creator Raheim Hamilton has been sentenced to 40 years in a case involving the $430 million dark web marketplace, according to Decrypt.
Hamilton also forfeited approximately 1,230 bitcoin as part of the case.
Fellow co-creator Thomas Pavey agreed to forfeit 1,584 bitcoin. His sentencing is scheduled for this month, the report said.
