DTCC outlined plans to tokenize 25 securities on Canton and Besu, with each token backed by securities held at DTC.
DTCC has outlined a tokenization rollout covering 25 securities on Canton and Besu, according to The Defiant.
The tokens will have one-to-one backing from securities held at DTC, linking the blockchain-based assets to securities in custody.
Stellar and Circle’s Arc are also anticipated to join the rollout in 2027, though that expansion remains prospective.
