DTCC’s tokenization service has gone live with 34 securities, with 20 DTC participants signing access agreements, according to The Defiant.
DTCC has launched its tokenization service with 34 securities available at the outset, The Defiant reported.
Twenty participants in the Depository Trust Company, or DTC, have signed agreements to access the service. The reported figure reflects access arrangements rather than confirmed usage.
Token transfers are available around the clock, but conversion orders operate within more limited hours. That distinction means the service’s continuous transfer availability does not extend to every operation.
