DTCC has launched its tokenization service on Canton Network and a private Besu blockchain, with 20 firms signed up, including JPMorgan, Citi and Morgan Stanley.

DTCC, a key provider of Wall Street market infrastructure, has put its tokenization service into operation on Canton Network and a private blockchain using Besu, according to CoinDesk.
Twenty firms have signed up for the service. JPMorgan, Citi and Morgan Stanley are among the participating institutions.
The launch advances DTCC's efforts to bring blockchain technology to securities infrastructure linked to $30 trillion in assets. That figure does not mean those securities have already been tokenized.
