A Virginia man received a 40-year sentence for operating a dark web drug market and agreed to forfeit roughly $100 million in bitcoin, CoinDesk reported.

A Virginia man who operated a dark web drug marketplace has been sentenced to 40 years in prison, according to CoinDesk.
The operator facilitated millions of drug transactions with a combined value of approximately $430 million.
He agreed to surrender roughly $100 million in bitcoin. His partner separately forfeited nearly 1,600 BTC.
