Cross-Border Stablecoin Transfers Rise 77.5% to $220.3 Billion
Chainalysis data shows cross-border stablecoin transfers rose sharply, while the busiest quarter of country-to-country routes accounted for 96.1% of measured value.

Cross-border stablecoin transfers totaled $220.3 billion in the year ending June 30, 2026, an increase of 77.5%, according to Chainalysis’s latest adoption report cited by The Defiant.
Activity was heavily concentrated: the busiest 25% of routes connecting countries carried 96.1% of the total value measured.
The report, released on Sept. 23, points to strong growth in international stablecoin transfers, but that expansion has not translated into an even distribution of value across routes.
