Chainlink is introducing weekend reference pricing for tokenized assets using perpetual futures quotes, with Aave as its launch partner.
Chainlink has added a pricing service for tokenized assets that provides reference updates over the weekend, according to CoinDesk.
The service draws on perpetual futures quotes to refresh prices while traditional markets are shut, providing a reference outside their usual trading hours.
Aave is the launch partner for the offering. The updates are based on derivatives quotes rather than trades taking place in the closed traditional markets.
