CF Benchmarks is introducing an onchain service to make established financial benchmark data available for blockchain applications, according to CoinDesk.
The offering includes data used by BlackRock, extending access to pricing infrastructure already used in traditional finance.
Developers could use the service to create blockchain-based index funds, tokenized portfolios and derivatives tied to those benchmarks.
