Calif demonstrated an untethered jailbreak at Hexacon in Paris, though no tool or technical details have been released, according to Decrypt.
Calif demonstrated a jailbreak on an iPhone 18 Pro running iOS 27.0.1 during an onstage presentation at Hexacon in Paris, Decrypt reported.
The jailbreak remained in place after the phone restarted. That persistence distinguishes an untethered jailbreak from methods that require assistance to reactivate after a reboot.
No jailbreak tool or details of the vulnerabilities used have been made public. The demonstration therefore does not amount to a publicly available release.
