bOSMO Bug Undermines Backing as Holder Compensation Plan Emerges
Edited by Steinar Vigdel Kolnes, Editor, Oslo
A bOSMO contract flaw permits cheap minting and threatens liquidity pools, while a holder compensation plan excludes purchases made after a snapshot.

A bug affecting bOSMO has left the token with little backing and prompted a compensation plan for holders, according to The Defiant.
The affected contract continues to permit low-cost minting. That ongoing vulnerability puts liquidity pools at risk.
Compensation eligibility is tied to a snapshot. Any bOSMO purchased after that cutoff will not qualify for reimbursement under the plan.
