The Blockchain Association backed Regulation Crypto Assets while asking the SEC for higher offering limits and changes to token filing rules.

The Blockchain Association has asked the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to double a proposed crypto startup offering exemption to $10 million, according to The Defiant.
In a comment letter supporting Regulation Crypto Assets, the trade group called for increases to both offering caps. It also urged the SEC to incorporate guidance on the Howey test directly into the rule.
The association separately requested that third parties be allowed to submit filings for tokens already trading. The requests outline changes the group wants the Commission to make to the framework.
