Bitmine Adds 12,535 ETH as Treasury Tops 6 Million Ether

Bitmine reported holdings of 6,041,481 ETH after its latest purchase, continuing weekly additions toward a target of 5% of Ethereum’s supply.
Bitmine Immersion Technologies said Monday that it purchased another 12,535 ether, bringing its corporate treasury to 6,041,481 ETH.
The acquisition extends the company’s run of weekly ether purchases. Bitmine aims to accumulate 5% of Ethereum’s total supply, and the latest addition moves it closer to that target.
The company is chaired by Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee, who attributed the recent crypto downturn to concerns about artificial intelligence, according to Bitcoin.com News.
