Bitget Hacker Moves $83 Million in XRP Beyond Ripple’s Freeze Controls
About $75 million remains in five original holding accounts after a Bitget hacker moved $83 million in stolen XRP, according to CoinDesk.
A hacker linked to the Bitget theft has transferred $83 million worth of stolen XRP, CoinDesk reported.
Of the wallets holding the stolen funds, two now have only small balances left. Funds are also being moved out of a third wallet.
Approximately $75 million remains across the five accounts that initially held the assets. The report notes that Ripple cannot freeze the stolen XRP.
