Bitcoin Whale Holdings Reach 3.03M BTC as $97M Leaves Wintermute
Cryptoquant reports rising balances among large bitcoin holders, while an unidentified investor moved 1,162 BTC from Wintermute to five new wallets.
Large bitcoin holders have increased their combined holdings to 3.03 million BTC, according to a Cryptoquant research note cited by Bitcoin.com News.
The analytics firm said investors holding at least 1,000 BTC have resumed buying. Their collective balance is now at its highest level since November 2025.
Separately, an unidentified investor withdrew 1,162 BTC, valued at about $96.77 million, from Wintermute and transferred the funds to five newly created wallets. The report did not identify the investor or explain the purpose of the transfers.
