Bitcoin Options Tilt Toward Calls as $95,000 Strike Draws Interest
Calls represent 60.24% of outstanding bitcoin options interest, with a large position at Deribit’s $95,000 strike for Oct. 30.

Bitcoin was trading above $82,000 as its options market showed a preference for calls, according to Bitcoin.com News. Call options accounted for 60.24% of outstanding options interest.
On Deribit, the $95,000 strike expiring Oct. 30 held a position equivalent to 25,030.6 BTC. The source also reported $4.5 billion in call positions, highlighting the scale of activity in these contracts.
Bitcoin futures open interest totaled $51.7 billion. Meanwhile, options max pain levels—the prices at which outstanding options would produce the smallest aggregate payout to holders—were substantially below the current market price. These levels and call positioning do not establish where bitcoin will trade.
