A proposal would reopen Arbitrum Stylus activations with Foundation sign-off while keeping existing active contracts and renewals permissionless.
An Arbitrum proposal would allow Stylus activations to resume under a process requiring approval from the Arbitrum Foundation, according to The Defiant.
The proposed approval requirement would not extend to contracts that are already active or to renewals, which would continue to operate without permission.
The DAO would retain the power to withdraw the Foundation’s signing authority. The arrangement is a proposed change, rather than a confirmed implementation.
