AI-Assisted Game Mods Blend Minecraft, Elden Ring and More
AI-assisted creators are combining elements from different games in mashup mods, with examples spanning Minecraft, Call of Duty and Gotham.
Game creators using AI-assisted coding are experimenting with mods that bring together elements from otherwise separate titles, according to Decrypt.
The examples include Minecraft elements in Elden Ring and a Skate-inspired crossover with Call of Duty. Another mashup places Spider-Man in Gotham.
Decrypt describes the creators as “vibe coders,” highlighting AI's role in their approach to building these unusual game combinations. The brief report does not specify which tools were used or whether the mods are publicly available.
