A calculation shared by crypto commentator Ash Crypto puts 0.7 BTC above 1 billion Indonesian rupiah, with the dollar trading near 18,000 IDR.
A holding of 0.7 bitcoin now translates into more than 1 billion Indonesian rupiah, according to a calculation highlighted by crypto commentator Ash Crypto on X.
The comparison uses an exchange rate of about 17,995 rupiah to the U.S. dollar. At that rate, 1 billion rupiah is equivalent to roughly $55,571.
The billionaire label therefore refers to wealth measured in Indonesia’s local currency, not U.S. dollars. The amount of bitcoin needed to reach that threshold changes with both its market price and the rupiah’s exchange rate.
